Once I did my online EA account was re linked and I no longed had any issues.We use cookies and similar tools that are necessary to enable you to make purchases, to enhance your shopping experiences, and to provide our services, as detailed in our Cookie Notice. I was then able to connect instantly and was prompted to connect to EA with a user name and password. With no options online to relink the account I decided to relaunch the game and try to connect and success. I noticed the email had a generic user name "Hi 52046cab224f404c" (i am not sure if this was the cause of the issue but could be one of the first steps.) after logging in and updating my user name I unlinked my xbox live account from 2016. after resetting my password to log into my account I got a email verification. we decided for me to log into EA.com and see if my xbox live was linked. We noticed "Th3 F4t C0bra" had an option (since he was connected) to be able to look at his connected EA account ect, but this option was not available to me SO. a friend of mine was able to connect to EA but I was having trouble. I believe I / we have found a real solution apart from the many I have read that worked for some and not other. re-enter your ea log in info I was having this issue as so many other have had. make sure your username is the same as xbox live( or at least is a real user name and not a generic one like I had, read below) 3 under account settings > connections > unlink your xbox account 4 launch the game try to connect to ea servers 5. Credit goes to Th3 F4t C0bra (Make sure you have the online pass downloaded and installed) 1.
